Cabo!

If I had to name my favorite vacation spot it would be Cabo San Lucas, hands down. I’ve been there twice, both times in January and both times I stayed at the RIU Santa Fe. It’s just beautiful. When you get off the plane and are driving to the resort you can’t picture how this desert is going to provide you one of the prettiest beaches. But after you check in and make your way to the beach you realize why Cabo is a celebrity hotspot. The resort’s backyard is breathtaking.

Even though you don’t want to leave the beach, Cabo has so much to offer. Here is a list of my top 3 things to do in Cabo:

3.  Divorce/Lovers Beach: You can take a water taxi to Divorce Beach, which is where the Arcs meet the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean. There are people walking around with coolers of Coronas, Dos Equis and waters. However, it’s a little buggy there so pack some bug spray.

2.  Squid Roe: The town of Cabo is so cute, and at night there are various nightclubs and bars to go to. My favorite is Squid Roe. It is three floors high with an open ceiling (Did I mention that I didn’t see any rain when I was there?) Many celebrities have been spotted here including Jay Z and Beyonce. In fact, Rhianna was showed up when I was in town.

1. Mango Deck: Mango Deck is located on Medano Beach, the main beach where most of the resorts are located. This place is way too much fun for one person to have in a day. They have specials running daily on buckets of beers and margaritas. The place itself is set up on the beach with lounge chairs so you can take in the sun. In the middle of all the chairs they have a stage set up for various contests they have throughout the day. If the hot sun is too much for you, they also have a shaded restaurant.
